Thunder Basketball Uniform

We are excited for the YMCA league's exclusive partnership with NBA - Oklahoma City Thunder!

As part of this partnership, Thunder basketball jerseys will be purchased through the online Team Store.

Thunder/Loves jerseys are required for every participant, and can be reused each year. If you own a Thunder/Loves Jersey from the Fall of 2023 on, you are not required to purchase a new one.

Thunder uniform shorts are NOT required. Parents may choose to purchase Thunder shorts if they would like.

*To receive your uniform in time, please order at least two weeks before your first game.
**Jerseys may be swapped by YMCA staff once games start to resolve any duplicate jersey numbers.

***Per the YMCA, Thunder, and Loves contract the Thunder/Loves jersey will be used through 2027. Participants are not required to purchase a new jersey in future seasons if they have a Thunder/Loves Jersey. Pictured below

PreK-K Little Ballers Thunder Info

Little Ballers is Thunder Basketball for our smallest members!

PreK/K players learn how to dribble, shoot, play on a team, and have fun! The league focuses on letting these little ones gain experience with coordination, handling a ball, and learning the rules of the game, all while giving them the opportunity for actual play.

At the Y, our sports programs focus on teaching youth good character values & developmental skills of the game. First through sixth grade players of all abilities have an opportunity to learn teamwork, sportsmanship, the value of hard work, and how to win/lose well. - with our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility informing all that we do. We strive to provide all children an opportunity to participate, valuing the role of sports in development of healthy youth on and off the court.

*absent players will be placed on a team randomly by YMCA draft coordinator. NO EXCEPTIONS

Practices will continue once games starts. Each week's practice schedule will depend on the team's game schedule, with a max of 3 activities per team each week.
