2024 Shotokan Karate

The YMCA karate program offers participants the opportunity to learn Shotokan karate, a dynamic, globally-practiced style focused on powerful, anaerobic movements that build strength and discipline. Through Traditional techniques, participants will enhance their physical fitness, develop self-defense skills, and cultivate mental focus in a supportive and engaging environment. 

Cost For November/December Session

Y Member: $25.00/per Session

Non-Y Member: $50.00/per Session

*There is a $25.00 administration fee on all refund requests. No refunds will be issued after each session's final day of registration.

Uniform & What to Bring

  • No uniform is required for class; Uniform is required to belt test (available for purchase through instructor)
  • If no Uniform, wear clothes you can move in such as athletic attire
  • long hair pulled back
