Little Ballers is Thunder Basketball for our smallest members!
PreK/K players learn how to dribble, shoot, play on a team, and have fun!
The league focuses on letting these little ones gain experience with coordination, handling a ball, and learning the rules of the game, all while giving them the opportunity for actual play.

YMCA Thunder Basketball Team Store!
We are excited for the YMCA league's exclusive partnership with OKC Thunder basketball! As part of this partnership, Thunder basketball jerseys will be purchased through the online Team Store.
Thunder/Loves jerseys are required for every participant, and can be reused each year. If you own a Thunder/Loves Jersey from the Fall of 2023 league or Summer of 2024 league, you are not required to purchase a new one.
Parents may choose to purchase Thunder shorts if they would like.
Thunder uniform shorts are NOT required.
*To receive your uniform in time, please order by September 10th, 2024.
**Jerseys may be swapped by YMCA staff once games start to resolve any duplicate jersey numbers.
***Per the YMCA, Thunder, and Loves contract the Thunder/Loves jersey will be used for four more years. Participants are not required to purchase a new jersey in future seasons if they have a Thunder/Loves Jersey. Pictured above.

There will be no practices once games start on September 30th.

Game Dates:

Games will be played on Tuesday, and Thursday nights at the YMCA. Teams will play two games a week.

The first game day of the season is September 30th.

NO GAMES Oct. 16, 17, or 18th for BPS Fall Break.

Season will conclude the last week of October. NO GAMES on Halloween; Oct. 31st.

For a limited time, YMCA Youth Thunder Basketball participants will receive the opportunity to claim complimentary tickets to the Thunder preseason game at the BOK Center in Tulsa! *limited-time offer while supplies last. Limit two tickets per household. Must be registered in the Richard Kane YMCA Youth Thunder Basketball league to receive offer information, first-come, first-served.

Financial Assistance (FA) is available. Applications must be received by September 3rd, 2024. Failure to meet this deadline forfeits any guarantee your application will be reviewed. FA payment must be received by September 8th, 2024.
*There will not be any exceptions or placement requests for PK-K grade teams. Siblings will be placed on the same team, and head coaches will have their children placed on their team. All other factors are not guaranteed to be accommodated. (I.E. Location, transportation, coach, etc.)
