Summer Camp 2022

"Last summer was the first year William attended the Y Summer Camp.  He had an amazing summer.  The staff was so helpful and truly invested in the children.  Through the Summer Camp, William had the opportunity to become friends with kids from other school.  Some of these friendships have even developed throughout the year on basketball teams and leadership camps.  The field trips were the most special part of the summer for William.  With COVID the last several years and field trips being non-existent through the school, he was able to finally make it out to Woolaroc and other places.  One of my hesitations with the Summer Camp was swimming at Sooner Pool but the staff was able to explain how the process worked and how the children were supervised and it put my nerves at ease and William loved every single day spent at the pool.  I have already recommended the Y Summer Camp to several of our friends and we will continue to sign up every summer going forward." - Cassie Haffner

How are you both and Owen enjoying the program? We love the program!
What have you found most invaluable from participating? The friendships. Owen has made with other students in the program.
Would you encourage a friend to join our program, and what might you say to do that? Absolutely! I would tell them to drive down to the YMCA and sign up.
How has this program changed your family's lives? For the better? It allows us to go to work and not worry about who watches our son. It allows Owen to make new friendships.
How has participating in our program affected your child? Owen has just become a well rounded kid. Because of this program, Owen listens better to others and is very caring of other kids feelings. I know he grows with age, but because of this loving program, Owen has matured faster in our eyes. Thanks for everything y'all do. Keep up the good work!

"The YMCA of Bartlesville has impacted my children and I's lives in a tremendous way by offering a selection of classes such as their Fit Kids Class, while also allowing our children to be a part of a handful of our own classes, like Circuit Friday! The staff at this location give their whole heart when instructing these classes, and I am consistently surrounded by wonderful people.
